About the project:
Revomon (Revolution Monsters) is an exciting monster catching/training RPG that combines immersive virtual reality with groundbreaking NFT technology. Players can collect and do battle with over 150 Revomon, while having true ownership over the monsters they train.
Through the use of blockchain and NFTs, Revomon allows players to monetize the time they spend playing the game. In many games, users spend hours grinding towards achieving milestones and acquiring powerful items but are left simply with a piece of data that exists on a game server. In Revomon, the monsters are represented by an NFT that exists in the blockchain wallet of the player. If the user decides to take their NFT to the open market, they can trade their assets for BTC, ETH, USDC or other cryptocurrencies.
Unlike many blockchain based games, Revomon was built to be an immersive and enjoyable gaming experience. The NFT layer of the game is a powerful addition, but the vision is to deliver a game that can stand on its own as something people actually want to play.
The global user process graphic below shows the intersection between the user’s in game activities and their real world interaction with cryptocurrency and the game’s assets. It is important to note that not every person will interact with every element in the process. For example, one person could choose to simply play the Revomon game for enjoyment without accessing the other features. On the other hand, some cryptocurrency users and traders might collect and trade Revomon or simply participate in liquidity mining initiatives without playing the game itself.
When designing the Revomon ecosystem on a macro level, emphasis was placed on considering the various facets of the project. It is not enough to deliver a good game, there must also be solid tokenomics and market dynamics for $REVO token to thrive. Conversely, there must be a vibrant community and player base for the game to build value in the Revomon NFTs.
