Establishing Chainlink As the Recommended Oracle Solution for BSCPad Projects
The BSCPAD team is happy to announce that BSCPad — a launchpad and accelerator for projects deploying on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) — will establish Chainlink as the recommended oracle solution for all future projects launched on our platform.
As an emerging player in the launchpad space, we are incubating and advising projects that cover a vast array of use cases. Many of these use cases require high-quality, decentralized oracle services to become fully functional and establish robust security guarantees of user’s funds. As the most widely used, time-tested, and fully featured oracle solution in the market, we will be recommending Chainlink as the oracle solution for BSCPad-supported projects, setting them up for success by establishing the strongest foundational infrastructure to support their applications.
Chainlink is by far the most widely adopted oracle solution in DeFi, providing highly secure and reliable price data to smart contracts on many of the leading blockchains, including native oracle support already available on BSC. Chainlink offers a wide range of oracle services that allow developers to interact with off-chain resources. Most notably through its Price Feeds, which supply DeFi developers with up-to-date asset prices needed to perform on-chain actions like issue loans, check liquidations, swap synthetic assets, offer multiple payment options, and more. Chainlink also supports several other oracle solutions that we can help teams explore such as Chainlink VRF for provably fair randomness, Proof of Reserve for verifying off-chain reserves, and the ability to call any API to get information like weather forecasts, gaming results, and sports data.
As part of our work together, Chainlink can help our clients launch oracle-enabled products in an accelerated yet secure manner. This includes identifying ways to increase the security and/or performance of a product’s oracle architecture, as well as assisting teams during the integration process to streamline onboarding and establish best security practices. By doing so, teams will be able to get their projects to market quicker while still ensuring they are thoroughly vetted.
